• Set up by the famed songwriting team Holland-Dozier-Holland after they left Motown, the Invictus and Hot Wax catalogues feature albums by Chairmen Of The Board, Freda Payne, Parliament, Lamont Dozier, Laura Lee, the Honey Cone, Ruth Copeland, the Glass House and many more.

• The Glass House featured Pearl Jones, Ty Hunter, Larry Mitchell and Scherrie Payne (sister of Invictus star Freda). All the singers had excellent pedigrees, including releases on Motown and other Detroit labels. Scherrie Payne cowrote many of the group’s songs with H-D-H’s staff writers, before joining The Supremes in the mid 70s.

• The group scored five R&B and Pop hits, including the # 7 “Crumbs Off The Table”. This release contains both the group’s very rare albums “Inside The Glass House” and “Thanks I Needed That”, along with five bonus tracks, the non-album singles sides.

• The booklet is extensively annotated by Holland-Dozier-Holland expert Tony Rounce and features many rare singles labels.
